Pyropress Titan - Celebrating our relationship with - Brimmond

April 2024 saw another successful client satisfied with a longstanding relationship to supply our ‘Titan’ Level and Temperature Switches.

From one British manufacturer to another, our client designs and builds bespoke flushing and pressure test units, pumps (High pressure and Centrifugal), Hydraulic Power Units (HPUs) and more for a wide array of applications and industries. In an Electrically driven High Pressure Unit, combined with a generator driven by a Power take off, electricity is generated to power a pump motor, a system, and accessories. The Titan level switch provides a low level alarm should the oil level in the tank drop below a preset point. The Titan temperature switch is used to provide an alarm if the temperature of the oil in the tank rises to a predetermined point. This is either factory preset or can be adjusted to an internal scale on site.

For higher pressure or higher temperature, a thermowell can be incorporated to ensure maximal operation in higher pressure or temperature environments. Our titan range can, dependent upon application and process reach up to a working pressure of 420 bar (6000 PSI)

The?Pyropress Titan switch?is?one of our flagship switches. Certified to SIL2 applications, our Titan range comes with options for?hazardous area?certification?in both intrinsically safe and explosion proof ATEX designs (gas and dust applications).?

Materials of construction include options in?316 Stainless steel (wetted and non-wetted parts) such as the two switches that you see here, making the Pyropress Titan range of pressure, vacuum, differential pressure, temperature, level and flow switches a very popular solution for offshore applications.
