We are glad to share information for our latest pyranometer MS-80S with intelligent features, best in ISO 9060:2018 Class A pyranometers available globally with smart interfaces and onboard remote diagnostics facility.

It’s featured smartly with everything you need for your Solar PV Study with class-leading specifications (eg: stability/year, accuracy, response time, zero offsets errors etc.) in solar PV monitoring, renewable research & study applications etc.

MS-80S is our latest arrival in Class A pyranometers. It has very flexible data output interfaces Eg: RS-485 (Modbus), 4-20mA, 0-1V, and SDI-12 freely electable by the user which is a BIG USP. (easy to connect directly with PC and data recording using its software).

The key advantages of MS-80S are as follows-

• MS-80S complies and exceeds specification of ISO 9060:2018 Class A (ISO 9060:1990 Secondary standard).
• Low (nearly zero) offset behavior due to Thermal radiation and temperature change which results in greater measurement accuracy.
• Fastest sensor response. (<0.5 sec) which provides better sampling of the data.
• MS-80S has self diagnostics of internal temperature and humidity and a tilt angle. These additional internal sensors will help the user to monitor the stability of the irradiance sensors as well as to ensure its proper installation and maintenance practices.
• EKO the manufacturer of MS-80S provides unique calibration compliant to the international standards defined by ISO/IEC17025/9847.
• The Non-stability of the sensor is < +/- 0.5% per 5 years which indicates lowest uncertainty and highest accuracy in the measured data.
• The sensor has 5 years warranty, 5 years recommended re-calibration interval and no longer the requirement for the desiccant to be changed. This means least maintenance is required and cost effectiveness of the sensor.  
• Smart interface: Digital RS- 485 (MODBUS RTU), SDI-12 and Analog current 4-20mA (configurable 0-10mA) or Voltage 0-1VDC with external optional 100Ω precision shunt resistor. This provides flexibility and connectivity options with various data loggers or directly with PC. Low cost dataloggers are also able to interface MS-80S due to its various output options.
• Special software for direct PC operation. (This saves datalogger cost)
