Last week, I had the privilege of attending the prestigious TMT CEO Retreat 2025, hosted by PwC at the exquisite Mementos by ITC Hotels in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Known as the "City of Lakes," Udaipur served as the perfect backdrop for a remarkable gathering of over 30 global PwC TMT leaders and more than 30 CEOs representing the biggest telcos, media houses, and cutting-edge tech companies.
From the serene beauty of Udaipur to the rich Rajasthani culture and flavours, the event was a harmonious blend of technology, strategy, and hospitality. The warm and engaging discussions on generative AI and its role in shaping business strategies truly made this retreat a standout experience.
Simplify to Amplify: The Core of AI
One of the most resonant themes of the retreat was "simplify to amplify." As technology leaders, the collective sentiment was clear: AI must be democratized and simplified to maximize its impact. At atQor this has always been our philosophy—creating solutions that drive meaningful results by making AI accessible for all.
PwC’s global TMT team emphasized the immense potential of India in this evolving landscape, and the insights shared during the sessions were both profound and practical. Manpreet succinctly articulated an idea that struck a chord with many:
“Solve for tech first; use cases will follow.”
Manpreet Singh Ahuja 's advice to boards and CEOs was straightforward yet compelling—treat AI as a strategic investment, not a tactical expense. He stressed that the focus should not be on immediate ROI but on long-term transformation, likening it to capital infusion rather than operational expenditure. Instant gratification from AI is a myth; what’s required is patience, a clear strategy, and a vision for the future.

A Cultural Feast
Amidst these engaging discussions, the retreat also offered a taste of Rajasthan's rich cultural heritage. The gala dinner on the first evening was a sensory delight, with authentic Rajasthani cuisine accompanied by soulful music that perfectly captured the spirit of the region. While the winter chill wrapped us in its embrace, the warmth of the conversations and the shared vision for the future kept us energized.
From keynote speeches to thought paper launches, and from startup showcases to networking opportunities, the retreat was a melting pot of ideas. It also highlighted how food, culture, and technology can come together to create a memorable experience.
Acknowledgments
I am incredibly proud of the work atQor is doing in this space and grateful for the opportunity to showcase our philosophy of simplifying AI to amplify its impact. A heartfelt thanks to Manpreet Singh Ahuja , Amit Rajput , Tarun Malik for extending this invitation and for facilitating such a meaningful and thought-provoking event.
The TMT CEO Retreat was a reminder that while technology is the future, it’s the people, culture, and shared insights that drive innovation forward. As I reflect on the retreat, I am more inspired than ever to continue our journey at atQor to make AI for All a reality.
Here’s to more collaborations and shared successes in 2025!
