PVDF Particle Injection Molding Process

PVDF Particle Injection Molding Process

PVDF, or polyvinylidene fluoride, is a high-performance thermoplastic that is commonly used in applications that require chemical resistance, high temperature durability, and UV resistance. The injection molding process is one of the most commonly used methods for manufacturing PVDF products.

?

The molten material of PVDF particles in the barrel of the injection molding machine is pressed by the screw, and injected into the mold with a certain temperature through the nozzle, and after cooling and shaping, a product with complex shape and accurate size can be obtained.

?

PVDF injection molding generally uses a screw injection molding machine with a screw length-diameter ratio of 20:1~25:1. The injection molding machine parts that often come into contact with the molten resin should be made of corrosion-resistant materials. The main channel of the mold should be about 1mm larger than the nozzle, preferably thick and short, and the wall thickness of the mold groove should be uniform, avoiding sharp angles to reduce flow resistance.
