Pvc electric cold resistant tape
Resistance to -25 ° C; normal operation at 10 ° C：
when the temperature is lower than At -10 °C, the outside world is all frozen, it is not
recommended, but our tape is can withstand temperature -25 ° C (after winding,
placed it in -25 ° C environment, the tape can work normally), and we also have Some
customers need the tape withstand temperature -45 ° C, and we can not do this
temperature.
Here are some videos we testd, kindly check it please.The condition test temperature
test is at -25 ° C and lower than -45 ° C. You can see that when winding tape it still
can work as normally at -25 ° C.
In the case of another -45 ° C, the tape breaks. Explained thatour tape can not
withstand temperature lower than -45 ° C, but can withstand still temperature -25 ° C.
testing method：
cold test according to GB/T 20631,
and there will be two test methods as follows:
1. After the tape wrapping cables, put it in the environment of -10 °C for 24 hours, and
then bend the wrapping part( around 8mm to the core) to bend it 180°, then straighten
it agin and bend it 3 times, each bend direction is opposite to the previous one, then
check the appearance after completion within 30s, If the tape is well as normal, it
means that the tape is resistant to -10 °C. If the tape breaks, it means that it is not
resistant to -10 °C.
2. Put the tape in the environment at -10 °C for 24 hours, then take it out and do
Electrical strength test, elogation test, and adhesive test etc. If the test
result almost as in the normal temperature, it shows the tape can work as normally at
-10 ° C.
