Putting Customers First, Works - Here's the Proof

An End of Financial Year Scorecard for SMB Solutions Cloud Services

Here in Australia, our financial year runs from July to June so we just finished the 2023 financial year, and I am pleased to report that SMB Solutions Cloud Services has again grown 30% year on year thanks to our additional customers and partners joining us from even more countries around the world and our existing customers continuing their utilisation of our best practice SAP Business One hosting services and we have done this without implementing price increases - our last price list revision was January 1st 2022.

Our approach has always been to look at the cost model, then apply a reasonable margin to allow us to reward our staff for their efforts and generate a profit to feed back in to making our services better and more secure for our customers - unfortunately (and heres a contentious statement) too many companies in the tech space use the formula of work out the costs and then see how much the customer will pay...

Enhancing Our Services

As a result we have just ordered additional SAP S4/HANA certified Dell servers and storage to give us additional capacity to maintain our availability headroom so that at any point in time now we have the capacity to triple our workloads overnight with our existing infrastructure - and at the same time, the newer servers will allow us to reduce our overall power consumption and carbon footprint.

This is part of our strategy to constantly re-invest in building a better service for customer and making sure we have the infrastructure in place for customers to take advantage of the latest technologies and feature enhancements in SAP Business One Version 10.

SOC 2 and ISO 27001 Certification is on the way

Another example, is that we are on the path to achieving SOC 2 certification within the next 4 months as well as ISO 27001 certification shortly thereafter.

Unlike most of our peers in the space who rely on the certifications from their data center providers we are making sure that we have established these certifications in our own right so you can be sure you are working with a company that meets and exceeds standards of security, privacy and performance.

Our Fair Pricing Approach

We are also reviewing our pricing so that where possible we can find cost savings to pass on to customers in the shape of lower pricing for our services and we will issue a new price list later this quarter that will reflect a number of price reductions but no price increases...

This is not an easy task as all our vendors are raising prices - Microsoft just bumped licensing costs by 9% as an example after raising prices by between 10 to 20 % already in the last year - but we are doing our best to make sure that we don't contribute to higher costs for our customers by absorbing price increases without passing them on to our customers.

We can do this because of the growth we have experienced thanks to our partners and customers staying with us and the great support service delivered by Callum, Liam, Taylor and the team.
