Putting CPG, Brick-And-Mortar, and Software Startup Founders in the Same Community

Putting CPG, Brick-And-Mortar, and Software Startup Founders in the Same Community

I believe we're onto something big.

Today, Goodie Nation announced the 30 recipients of the 2023 Lenovo Evolve Small grant in partnership with Lenovo and AMD. The founders aren't from the software startups we usually support - they represent some of highest-potential diverse-owned CPG and Brick-and-Mortar companies across the US and Canada. These 30 small businesses represent 20 cities and 17 states/territories; and 50 Accelerators/incubators including McKinsey Next 1B Founders, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business, Target Takeoff Beauty Accelerator, Sephora Accelerate, Ulta Beauty Accelerator, Tory Burch Fellowship, and Black Ambition.

The big opportunity to put them into the same community as software startups from accelerators and programs like Google for Startups, AWS Impact Accelerator, Techstars, Y Combinator, and more. This opens up a new world of B2B relationships, intros to large retailers, and more.

Learn more about the 30 companies here.

Please consider being intentionally good and make a purchase from one of them or share with your network.

Oh, and we have one more big announcement coming out soon focusing on another type of founder/leader.

A business is a business. Of course, tech carries different nuances than CPG or BM models but we can all learn from one another ?? Solve a real problem, focus on building the best solution, and surround yourself with others who are there to support you!

I love it! Execution and scaling tactics might be different but at the end of the day first principles are similar: identify a problem, build a solution, find product market fit. CPG and brick and morter businesses are also becomingbmore and more tech enabled. Yes to all of this!

I love it. We need and can learn from each other. Technology plays an integral role in every single business.

I think that's great. They should be! Too often software sits in a silo: building products that will be used by CPG & Brick and Mortar, and vice versa. We're all building technology companies at the end of the day.
