Put Your Self-Doubt in The Garbage

If you are a new leader or a seasoned one questioning your ability to lead, let me offer you a simple suggestion: throw your self-doubt into the garbage can, and don’t forget to put the lid on tight.
Self-doubt has a way of creeping back in if we allow it, but leaving it in the trash where it belongs is the first step toward unlocking your true potential.
Once that doubt is out of the way, shift your focus to what you CAN do. It doesn’t matter if those first steps feel small or uncertain; progress is still progress.
Each step forward—whether it’s making a decision, trying a new approach, or simply showing up for your team—is a reminder that you’re capable of far more than you’ve given yourself credit for.

Leadership isn’t about perfection; it’s about persistence. Trust yourself, even when the path ahead feels unclear. Trust that you have what it takes to grow into the role you’ve been given.
With every small win, every new skill, and every challenge overcome, you’ll find your confidence growing stronger. And as that confidence builds, you’ll inspire the same belief in those around you.
So, put the lid on that self-doubt and leave it behind for good. Focus on moving forward, one step at a time, and soon, you’ll look back and see just how far you’ve come.

2 个月I am that person and best to called as imposter syndrome. It's crucial and struggle because I don't understand myself very well. However, I realize I can't continue to have that feeling too long if I want to be a success person and I always keep myself to find ways how to break the walls. It's work. Just start from small steps and I trust it's all about learning process. Key things is never stop learning and don't afraid made a mistake. We are human and nothing goes perfect as simple as that. Thanks Michael Wader for this. Your journey during your service at air force keep playing in my minds. It's really inspiring and I believe people can change too!

2 个月The thing is, more often than not, the team can feel self-doubt, too, and that can be detrimental to the overall organization. The market can already be challenging on its own, and we don't need to make matters worse. What's one way to quickly catch out self-doubts, Michael Wader? We are not always aware of them, right?
