I hope you are having a wonderful Easter weekend. I have my parents to stay and my grown-up children popping in to catch up with us all. It’s lovely to be together again and I was happy to hear that my dad is really feeling the benefit of doing the daily exercises I taught him.
My dad is a fit but 'arthritic' 75, I finally persuaded him to try doing a combination of my Pilates and Yoga exercises at home around 18 months ago. He has stuck with it and this weekend he told me that his back pain is much better and that his waist size has reduced back to the 32 inches he always was.
Both he and my mum are keen advocates of the work I do, they may be biased?! But after a lifetime of working with bodies (including my own!) I absolutely know that?this ‘stuff’ works! Is there a catch? it only works if you do it!?
Community is Key!
April is Stress Awareness Month and there is no doubt that physical activity is a wonderful way to manage the stresses of our modern, covid contaminated lives. It is also proven to help mild to moderate depression and anxiety. But did you know that human connection is key for overall health and wellness.
So if?you are looking for friendship and community look no further! I always make the time for us to chat and connect with each other before and after my online sessions. I have made wonderful friends from Scotland to the Isle of Wight and even across the pond to the USA.?
