Warmer weather and longer days are here, which means we are all looking for ways to put that extra spring in our step! With more hours of daylight, the possibilities of staying active are limitless; but, if your energy starts to dwindle, try these fruits and vegetables that are comprised of natural energizing properties to help give your body a natural kick.

Cherimoyas are sweet and creamy fruits filled with vitamin C, B-complex vitamins and fiber. These are so creamy that they are known as the “custard apple.” If you are looking for a new fruit to add to your daily fruit intake, try this cherimoya, matcha and strawberry icecream for a snack to cool down.

Mangoes are juicy and low-fat! Rich in vitamins A, C and E, mangoes are often considered the “king of the fruits.” Mangoes are also abundant in potassium, which helps control your heart rate and blood flow. Whether you add this delicious fruit to your smoothies or salsa, you’ll be filled with a surge of energy. This Quinoa and Mango Salad may be the perfect meal to help you leave lunch ready to take on the rest of the day.

Spinach is a versatile vegetable rich in iron, which helps fight fatigue by providing necessary oxygen to your body tissue. It’s also an excellent source of vitamins A, C and K, so adding a cup of spinach to your daily diet will perk you right up!
