Put a little love in your heart
Valentine's day is about celebrating love, and like every other holiday, we share it with those that are special and important to us, my greatest wish, is that we can take holiday spirits, and carry them into our daily lives, most folks would say that wish is not realistic, and with the state of affairs in our world, it would be hard to argue.
But I don't think it's unrealistic for us to make a concentrated effort to add a little love into our hearts, seeing people as people, not as situations, learning to have more compassion, it sounds corny to some, I realize there are many people that might not want to make the effort.
So I say draw from your past struggles, find how to open your heart, our greatest strengths can be directly related to our biggest weakness or defeat, What does that mean? You don't know what it is to have nothing, till you have nothing, You can have a theory about having nothing, but until you wake up with nothing in your pockets, or you have no place to go, it is only a theory.
If you have overcome a struggle, or currently are experiencing a hard time, remember, things that we face and overcome becomes our greatest power, It is the compassion and understanding that can drive us to be more successful and fuel our commitment to others, share your victories, Share your pain, pain shared is pain lessened, helping others realize that they are not unique, remember if it has a name, someone has done it before.

9 年IVE read many posts that say that LOVE is an esential element in experiencing the Greater segment of life.. I have been entrenched in my giving my gift to all those who need an element a simple awaking as a 'Slowing' & refreshing begining of the day!! In my 55 years of athleticism and multiple aspects of yoga/Tai Chi/meditation & kundalini created a 15-17 minute 'musular-yawning' ! Wonderful; without even having to get out of your bed! coming out on weebly [yettivodex] ! It works for peeps that say ' I would like to try yoga but don't have the time.. I feel it's perfect!! yancy
