Put a Little Love in Your Heart

ACCORDING TO SONG, love is in the air and is a many splendored thing.  As individuals we need to believe in those words. They help us to recognize The Good in all people and The Hope in our future. . . 

YET, THERE ARE SWIRLS of disharmony circling, like a slab of dense cinnamon paste in a three-day-old bun. To me, the time seems right to take Jackie DeShannon’s advice and put a little love back in our hearts.

 LOVE CAN BE ROMANCE and roses or a cozy cuddle in the cold.  It can be a welcome home hug or an all-better kiss on a scraped knee.  It can be a smile of forgiveness for a long ago slight or a promise to keep in our prayers at night. Love is people, places, things. Believing in love is trusting in others with faith and understanding, and allowing them the opportunity to prove themselves worthy.

LOVE MAY NOT be the definitive answer
to all that is wrong in the world;
but it certainly can be the key to unlock a door, as well as a heart. 

And, who knows? The world may be a better place for you…and me... 

We'll just have to wait and see.  ;-)
