Put alcohol pleasure in perspective

Heavy marketing can make it seem that alcohol drinking is essential in pleasure when it really only plays a bit-part, and often a negative one. If we are serious about enjoying our spare time we might benefit from a more open, creative approach, as outlined here. ■

There is a great conversation to be had here Phil Cain I see a significant shift ... people who don't have an attachment issue or aren't using alcohol for an improper emotional purpose ... you know... the sober-conscious ... have happily moved over to alcohol-free and alcohol-removed options. Where I see the issue remaining is with those trapped in the ladder ... Those who still believe that "I need a drink" "I had a hard day" "I deserve to cut loose" "this is just how we socialize" etc are viable reasons to destroy their body and mind ... they are the ones with deeper battles to concur I just don't think we can continue to blame marketing - we as intellectual beings - choose how we perceive things - and we are conditioned to bend it as a way to justify
