Pushing Ourselves

Everyone insists we always push ourselves outside our comfort zones. But, forcing myself for the rest of my life seems neither enjoyable nor sustainable as a lifestyle, especially when I am happy and content with my life.

I have always wondered why being in the comfort zone is such a big problem! And then I saw it.?

Our comfort zone is not our "safety zone" anymore, considering how fast the world is changing around us. The best survival strategy we can have is to keep learning every day so that our knowledge and skills don't become obsolete in the future.

i find upskilling and learning all the time not entirely satisfactory. There’s always too much to do/learn. i’ve been on this journey for a while (decade or more) and taken in isolation, am beginning to see it as an always out of reach, distant goal. Becoming skilled in making your existing knowledge count is more pertinent but that outcome doesn’t always follow.
