In Pursuit of Success
Rajeev Singhal
Training is that strategic inflection point which bridges gap in ever challenging competitive market.
Everyone wants to be successful in Life however Question looms large, How?
World is changing around us all the time and it is survival of the fittest.?Darwin explored it long back.
Everyone in life wants to be successful, however a few get into the category. I think that everyone needs to ask certain questions to oneself all the time. Let me raise certain questions and seek responses that how often we ask such questions to ourselves:
1.??????Do I challenge the status quo or let it be as it is?
2.??????Do I believe in conservative approach or I try new things?
3.??????Am I someone who is in constant search of finding solutions for the problems being faced or unfolding in front of me?
4.??????Am I someone who wants to succeed?
Let me take the asked questions one by one to further give clarity:
1.??????Do I challenge the status quo or let it be as it is? It is about a given situation where I got stuck and not able to go beyond a certain point and I want to resolve it with the methods which I am aware which probably gave success to me in past however they are no more applicable in current context.?When getting stuck, do I seek help from someone or try to explore from some different source which could be instrumental in breaking the status quo?
2.??????Do I believe in conservative approach or I try new things? Often, I hear people say that world is changing, technology has overturned the earlier beliefs. Is it that I am sticking to old guns and not trying new? However, I often ask a question that is it required to try everything new. There is something which is not new however still very much effective, but because it is a race and if I do not become a part of bandwagon, probably, I would become obsolete and people may not take seriously. Come on. Take a break. Rationalize what suits you and what gives better results rather than just in blind race of adapting new in the name of new.
3.??????Am I someone who is in constant search of solutions for the problems being faced or unfolding in front of me? Am I someone who gives up easily or someone who would be in constant search of finding solutions? Do I revisit what happened and how I acted over and again in my mind or I just think that this approach which I applied was only approach and there is no alternative solution to it? I think that you need to think again.
4.??????Am I someone who wants to succeed? Because, if I want to succeed, I will try not just once, I will try over and again, may be with an approach which brings a vector in success or a needle being moved or a different approach which makes a needle moved in the direction which gets me success. Am I in constant pursuit of finding success? Why to follow when I can pave the path less travelled.
A long and arduous search of something helps each and everyone of us to become successful.
