Do you ever get that feeling that something's missing, despite checking off all the dreams on your list? I know I have.
Every night, as I lay down, I can't shake off the sense of something undefined, something unclear, something elusive. Days turn into months, more items are checked off the to-do-list, but that void stay unchecked.
Is it about achievements, money, or wealth? I've accomplished a lot by 31, but peace? It's been missing.
Real talk - peace can't be bought. Not with money, not with the best workouts, not even with the life you've always wanted. I've been asking myself a lot lately, what is peace?
For me, it's time. Time for myself, not work-related. Time to read a book that's not career-focused, a coffee without diving into emails, saying yes to lunch with a friend, or grabbing my camera to capture nature's beauty.
Lately, stress has been taking over, showing up in mental and physical changes. Why is it so hard for us to hit pause and take a day off? Why do we push ourselves when we know it's hurting us?
Why do business people feel the pressure to work more than we know our bodies can push? All the leave policies and we don't take any? All those sick leaves and we take a pill and continue?

We create a space for our teams to have a healthy work environment, but we work till we drop. Why do we not just stop and take a break?
We started our businesses for the freedom of time, right? But too often, we get tangled in the details, pouring our energy into everything and everyone. We're there for our teams, managers, vendors, clients - but when are we there for ourselves?
I am turning 31 this month, and all I have done in the past decade is achieve, become the one I would look upto?
But I forgot to enjoy life, I forgot to enjoy growing up, I forgot to enjoy the small things in life that makes us smile.
Let me leave you with a thought - When was the last time you took some time out for yourself? Just a day to do nothing but soak in life?
I hope you find the peace you’re looking for, because I will be out there looking for mine.

9 个月Yes sometimes wants to have 48 hrs, ironically its never be. Retirement at 40 good thought, keep fire on it and achieve, which was a dream for many.
