Purpose Wont Always Bring Happiness

Triple Espresso:
Living your purpose won't always bring you happiness or pleasure.
Face it.
Embrace it.
Deal with it.
Because happiness and pleasure, like ALL human emotions, are transitory.
All emotions, whether pleasurable or painful, are fleeting. They come and they go.
Don't get me wrong, that’s not to say that living your purpose will NEVER be pleasurable and bring happiness, it absolutely will.
But pleasure and happiness are in YOUR complete control. They have NOTHING to do with external circumstances, acquisitions, or accomplishments.
You have to work at them.
But let's talk straight here. Even when you work at them (and often BECAUSE of working toward them), it will at times STILL be painful and frustrating.
My suggestion?
Work instead to develop FULFILLMENT, and this is more than mere semantics.
Fulfillment can exist where happiness and pleasure are not present.
I wasn't always successful in creating my fulfillment, but overall I feel like I did pretty well.
How??
I found meaning and purpose in my suffering and pain.
