The Purpose of Today

The Purpose of Today

Today has a purpose. Today has a meaning. Today is a promise of potential and the clear demonstration that you have meaning. The biggest block to achieving your deepest desires is that you have stopped believing in your meaning.

Think as you will, but you are not here by accident. You are not here without a purpose. You are not here without meaning. As it was in the beginning, it is with you now. You have been given the breath of life. Your existence here is by Divine action. Your breath today is the presence of Divine energy. Your potential is as large as the universe and your purpose is that you, in all your actions, thoughts, words, deeds, and emotions, will reflect goodness and light to everyone you encounter.

Your purpose is not to sell or buy or convince or arrange or push or struggle. Your purpose is to serve.

The question to ask today is this: How may I serve?

Too many of us in business are asking for others to BUY from us. Too many are worried about what we can SELL. Too many are planning strategies and looking for the SILVER BULLET to convince another to support our DESIRES.

Other people are not a means to an end. We think, "If I can get so many people to buy so much from me then I can have what I desire." We should think, "How can I serve today and who can I serve?"

Jesus said, "The Son of Man has not come to be served but to serve." Has anyone ever done more for humanity and showed more compassion and taught more truth than The Christ? This writer is convinced the answer is, "No."

Why then, do we so resist the universal truth of our purpose?

Our collective purpose is to serve.

Today, instead of living with anxiety and fear that you're not selling enough or doing enough or achieving enough goals, live in gratitude that today you can SERVE.

Say this, aloud, with feeling:

"I am so grateful and thankful for the people in my life (family, friends, spouse, partners) and that my life is one of service to others. I am grateful that by serving others (my clients, customers, co-workers) I am fulfilling my purpose and that the windows of prosperity, peace, happiness, joy and plenty are opened upon my life. I am grateful there is no lack of prosperity, energy, wisdom and creativity so that I can both give and receive all that is needed."

You are filled with Divine light and when we serve, we create the life we desire.

It is only by giving that we receive. It is only by this action, casting our bread upon the waters, that we are guaranteed to have a return.

"As a person thinks in his/her heart, so are they." If you see yourself as unsupported, struggling alone, without a Divine purpose you will continue to be unsupported, struggle, and lack the life you desire.

Serve today with joy!
