In my humble opinion, there is a four-phased approach to evolve HR into a digital function.
a)Efficiency “using technology to streamline administrative and repetitive work”.
b)Innovation “using technology and apps to innovate HR practice”.
c)Information “using technology, data, and analytics to support better decision making”.
d)Connection “using technology to create connections and enhance the employee experience to drive individual and organizational productivity.”
