Purpose can be difficult to define, but it is a path that you can visualize, and take active steps to achieve. Individuals who recognize their purpose smile a lot more and happy even when events go wrong. If you have a clear purpose, when you get knocked off course, you know where and how to get back on the path.
Imagine your spirit as a radio antenna receiving constant information from an enormous satellite dish of someone/something greater. We have to be listening at the correct frequency and pointed in the right direction in order to hear the messages we require for our lives. There is something to being at the right place at the right time or just feeling happy just to be in the moment.
Tuning in to the right frequency is imperative to guide your decisions and to give you the real or perceived feeling that you are on the right path. It amazes me that people can have money, popularity, good looks, but can still be utterly miserable. There can be multiple reasons, but not feeling you are doing what you are supposed to do is a factor in many. The hard part of life is that you are constantly changing, so it is hard to be consistently tuned to your right frequency.
Think what happens when you hear a radio frequency that is too loud; to aggressive or does not resonate with you. There are other frequencies, which some are positive, but there are also negative frequencies that are for the selfish, greedy, and narcissistic. Some frequencies quench your spirit and have it feeling alive, and some frequencies take parts of your soul for all the glitter and gold.
2020 caused all of humanity to reflect on what is important, how do we choose to live our lives, and what policies we need to upgrade in our society. Your purpose gives you a destination, and the hardships in life is the energy catalyst to get you there.
Growing and transforming who you are is essential in order to grow. Your purpose can only grow if you are capable enough to handle it. Humans lose their compass if they do not have purpose. Purpose is the central drive that keeps people motivated and moving forward. The more you grow the bigger your purpose becomes, so fulfill your purpose now and a bigger one will be waiting for you
Your primary goal is to be the best version of yourself
At minimum, if you are not clear what you need to be doing or where you should be going, then be the best version of yourself. I encourage you to continue trying different things and expanding your mind. You came on this earth with special skills and either you need to develop those skills or keep looking for them. If you are stuck or off course, maybe you need to forgive someone; ask for forgiveness; change your mindset; or demonstrate self-motivation.

3 年Happy New Year looking forward to your articles to come this year! Also I’m looking forward to finding more clarity on what my North Star is and working towards it. In a way the pandemic helped me to see what is truly important and what is not.
