Listening to God
Last week being in France, having a small retreat with Europartners and Business Leaders about listening to and speaking from Gods voice. Personal take away:
God is interested in you and He would like to speak to you in a very personal way. To encourage, strengthen, and comfort you, as well as showing you his friendship.

4. Brewing Beyond Business | Entrepreneur’s World
Yoda & You - Finding the best person in the world to mentor you.
“Being an entrepreneur is now not considered at the lunatic fringe of capitalism, but rather something celebrated and admired.”
Jim Koch, Founder of Boston Beer
In?Quench Your Own Thirst, Koch offers unprecedented insights into the whirlwind ride from scrappy start-up to thriving public company. His innovative business model and refreshingly frank stories offer counterintuitive lessons that you can apply to business and to life.
He gives much of the credit for the beer itself to Joe Owades, a renowned brewmaster who oversaw the art and alchemy that eventually produced Samuel Adams. Koch advises readers that for every startup there is one thing?at which it must be brilliant. For that thing, says Koch, “it’s vital that you get?the very best person in the world?to mentor you and help you achieve perfection.” Owades, says Koch, was the company’s Yoda.

Startup Mindset for a Fulfilling Career: $300,000 to nearly $1 million in 3 years!
“I started to realize that I was not pushing myself enough, I didn’t feel like I was growing enough. I can go into the office every day and ask myself, ‘Am I working on something that’s important for this company, am I working on something that’s important for my career growth and am I learning new things every day’? If I can answer those three questions as, ‘Yes,’ I think that’s a fulfilling career for me.”

7. Building Your Company's Vision | Foundation Series
Companies that enjoy enduring success have core values and a core purpose that remain fixed while their business strategies and practices endlessly adapt to a changing world.
Truly great companies understand the difference between what should never change and what should be open for change, between what is genuinely sacred and what is not. This rare ability to manage continuity and change – requiring a consciously practiced discipline – is closely linked to the ability to develop a vision.
A well-conceived vision consists of two major components: core ideology and envisioned future. Core ideology, defines what we stand for and why we exist. The envisioned future is what we aspire to become, to achieve, to create – something that will require significant change and progress to attain.
Core ideology consists of core values and core purpose. Core ideology provides the glue that holds an organization together as it grows, decentralizes, diversifies, expands globally, and develops workplace diversity. You discover core ideology by looking inside. It has to be authentic.
Core values are the essential and enduring tenets of an organization. A small set of timeless guiding principles, core values require no external justification; they have intrinsic value and importance to those inside the organization.
Core purpose, the second part of core ideology, is the organization’s reason for being. It captures the soul of the organization. One powerful method for getting at purpose is the five why's.
Start with Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action by Simon Sinek.
The second primary component of the vision framework is envisioned future. It consists of two parts: a 10-to-30-year audacious goal (BHAGs) plus vivid descriptions (words to picture) of what it will be like to achieve the goal.
