Purpose

Have you ever seen the differences between corn? In Czech Republic there are two types of corn, the sweet corn and the one given to the horses. When I hear that they were giving one type of corn to the horses only, I thought it was strange. I have not yet seen the corn and for that I said to myself: "Why they would waist corn to give to horses?" Back home, in Brazil, we have six types of corn, which one of them, we also use as food for horses.

So when a colleague at work, informed me that there is a corn field near his house, I got excited and happy - I love corn - and he informed he will bring it to me. It would be the corn for the horses, but I said it was OK, no problem, without thinking about it too much, I said to myself: "I would make it work".

The next day, I was really excited - free corn - when I got home and peeled the corn, the difference was subtle but noticeable, if you are really paying attention to the corn, the color was slightly different, with some tonalities of red here and there. Even thou there was signs of potential error, if you may, call it error, I ignored them and continue the process of preparing it - boiling in water - for dinner.
