Purnea Mayor flags off Saksham Cycle Rally in Purnea: 15 Feb'2020

Under the Sanrakshan Kshamta Mahotsava (Oil & Gas Conservation event) SAKSHAM program, a cycle rally was organised in Purnea city. City Mayor Ms Savita Singh flagged off the rally. Our Purnea based Field Officer, Ajit Kumar Sinha Sales Officer (LPG-Sales), Purnea led the rally by cycling along with other cyclist comprising of cyclist from Purnea cycle association and students of different schools in Purnea.

Chief guest of the program City Mayor Ms Savita Singh described the importance of saving fuel and it's future impact. Physician Dr. S. M. Prasad spoke about health benefit of reducing fuel consumption, as it reduce pollution and lung related problems. He further informed other health benefits of cycling. SO (LPG-S), Purnea and other attendees also described different benefit of saving fuel and cycling.

Saksham pledge for saving fuel was taken by all participants.

The cycle rally started from Jila school and went through prominent places of the the city with different banners displayed on cycles and slogans of fuel saving and environment protection being raised.
