THIS is the most beautiful sight. Not just because it shows future service dogs who will dramatically change the lives of veterans and first responders with a disability, but because YOU made this happen. Not everyone can raise a service dog, but you can all play a critical role in the process. In this case, your generous donations of much-needed treats and supplies will help the extraordinary trainers at America's VetDogs and the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind prepare these pups for their future missions. This photo reflects just a small portion of your donations! Ace, his new friends and I are profoundly grateful. As inspiring as it was to see so many donations, equally poignant were the stories behind each. You honored fallen service members and first responders, beloved family pets, and the work of volunteer puppy raisers like me. It’s been a tough year for all of us, but please remember that we’re still surrounded by indelible acts of kindness and compassion like this one. Thank you, Andea McCarren

PenFed is very proud that Ace of America's VetDogs has started formal training in NY to become a service dog for a veteran or first responder with a disability. This sweet Labrador Retriever is the 7th puppy raised and trained by our credit union’s employees. It’s always sad to say goodbye, but we know Ace will change someone’s life for the better!
