Punjab Excise Offers “Golden Opportunity” On Car Token Tax

Punjab Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Department have given/offered a golden opportunity on car token tax. As per the details, the department is offering a 10% discount on the payment of token tax. Meanwhile, an extra 5% discount will be offered to the citizens paying through?the ePay App.?“You can pay the token tax while sitting at your home through ePay,” the department mentioned.

The last date of tax payment is August 30, 2023. The department has urged the citizens to take advantage of this golden opportunity and pay the tax as soon as possible.

“Alert, in case of nonpayment of taxes, the car could be confiscated, or a fine could be imposed on the car owners,” the department announced.

How to Pay Token Tax in Lahore?

For the people’s ease, the Punjab Government has launched an ePay Punjab app,?which helps you pay your car’s token tax while sitting anywhere in the world.

This app is available on both IOS and Android and can be downloaded on your devices.

• After opening the app, several departments are listed, in which you will choose Excise and Taxation.
• Clicking on this, you will choose the option of car token tax.
• Then, you will proceed to enter your vehicle’s registration number, which will generate all of its credentials, including the last paid token tax.
• The total token tax due will appear on your screen, for which you can generate a challan.
• After this, you will get a unique PSID number to easily pay your car token tax through an online transfer or an ATM.
