BKV Welcomes Kyle Yardley, Government Managing Partner, in BKV's Chicago Practice Site

Kyle is the new Government Managing Partner in our Chicago practice site, bringing over 30 years of architecture experience to BKV, with a focus on justice, law enforcement, and detention projects. Throughout his career, he has also designed a range of high-rise multifamily, mixed-use, and commercial projects. “Government facility design is a segment of our industry with tremendous growth potential, and I look forward to working alongside my colleagues at BKV Group as we help municipalities small and large address the needs of their community,” said Kyle. “Through intentional and thoughtful collaboration, we can implement outcome-based designs that prioritize safety, efficiency and sustainability.”

Take a Look at Park Place Tallahassee

This student living project is planned as a nine-story mixed-use development that will include 706 beds, ranging from studios through five-bedrooms. The property will feature a rooftop pool and a club room with views of Collegetown and Doak Campbell Stadium, home of the Seminoles football team. Construction is set to begin in late 2024 or early 2025, with the project delivery date being summer of 2027. https://lnkd.in/gMgW84Gp

For Snelling Receives National Feature in Preservation Magazine

In the "Transitions" section of Preservation Magazine, places of local and national importance are highlighted that have recently been restored, are currently threatened, have been saved from demolition or neglect, or have been lost. Leading off this list in the summer 2024 issue, BKV Group was honored to see our Fort Snelling Upper Post Flats project featured as an exemplary example of a community that's been restored and rehabilitated with it's 26 buildings repositioned into a nearly 200-unit affordable housing complex. Finance & Commerce Showcases Beck46 on the Cover of their Top Projects of 2023 Issue

BKV Group collaborated with Oppidan Investment Company on Beck46, the final project of a redevelopment site that's a short stroll from Minnehaha Falls and next to Lowa46, the companion community our development team worked on together. Beck46 fills in a space with a growing number of flats drawn by the park and the 46th Street light rail station across Hiawatha Avenue. With Beck and Lowa now bookending the whole development, the neighborhood has changed dramatically, and for the better, from being largely industrial to now being a multifaceted residential community. https://lnkd.in/dUfp5x4r

Barstool Sports Headquarters Honored with a 2024 Best Project Award from Engineering News-Record Midwest
