Using Metrics to Maximize Value

In the first session of Pathways to Value, Alex Halbur , Managing Partner of Prosper Group, highlighted a handful of areas critical to growing agency value, including aspirational targets for each. Alex noted that all too often the tendency is to compare your agency’s metrics to the average instead of to the top quartile.?

CFO/COO Community Meeting

The June CFO/COO Community meeting included a survey on Q2/Q3 business performance. With clients continuing to be conservative,?approving work slowly and in smaller increments,?most agencies are pursuing a number of cost-containment measures.?

HR Community Meeting

Jessica Golden Cortes , D+G partner, joined the June HR community meeting to share legislative updates on pay transparency and best practices to comply.

Upcoming Labor Bill Rate Study

The PR Council’s semi-annual Labor Bill Rate Study examines hourly rates in use across every client service position in our integrated agencies. Keep an eye out for the release of the questionnaire next week. This important data, available only to those who participate, will be crucial for procurement negotiations and ’24 rate increases.?

2023 UNBIAS Series

DEI leaders in our agencies identified managerial competence, specifically feedback, as the number one issue impacting our ability to retain and grow diverse talent. The UNBIAS series tackles the issue in four carefully crafted sessions, the first on June 21st. Linda Davis, Senior Director, Human Resources at?JPA Health, will moderate a discussion with diverse professionals to highlight pieces of feedback that propelled their trust, commitment, work and careers forward.?Panelists include?Marcus Braham, Vice President of?Padilla;?Aisha Hudson, Vice President of?FleishmanHillard;?Shari Smith, Vice President, Corporate Affairs, at?BCW Global; and?Eric Winkfield, Vice President at?M Booth.
