Pubs And Restaurants Led February Spending Increases, Says AIB

AIB has revealed that average daily spending increased by 5% in February, compared to the previous month, with pubs and restaurants leading the way.

Restaurant and hotel prices increased year on year last month, according to data revealed by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) in its Consumer Price Index (CPI) for February 2023.

Lough Erne Resort has announced that its career day will be returning this month, as the leisure destination launches a recruitment programme for a variety of hospitality positions.

The number of passengers who travelled through Shannon Airport during January and February of this year saw a significant hike on pre-pandemic figures, as noted in data published by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) this week.

According to data from the Central Statistics Office (CSO), the number of passenger journeys on buses in Dublin during the week that started on 20 February of this year was 10% higher than the number taken during the same week in 2019 – before the Covid-19 pandemic began.

Canadian restaurant brand Tim Hortons has announced that it will open the doors of its newest restaurant in Northern Ireland on 27 March.
