Last week was a doozy! First off I got sick right before a presentation I’ve been preparing for for months … and I NEVER get sick!

Well actually, I shouldn’t say “never” because I don’t really care for that word but you get the point… I rarely get sick.

Last Monday I was in Vegas for my industry’s conference… the largest promotional products trade show of the year. This is where you see everyone you talk with throughout the year but only see once or a few times a year, where you feel all the latest products and where you go to LEARN.

I was there to SPEAK this year… to speak about VIRTUAL ASSISTANTS at the largest “Swag Show” of the year and I was sick! 

To say I was dissapointed would be an understatement. But, I did as any Entrepreneur with a degree from a party school would do… I rallied (thank you Chico State).

Despite not being able to fully hear myself from my ears being plugged, I delivered the presentation and the feedback was tremendous!

I was blown away with how many people came up to me after the workshop and throughout the trade show over the next couple days. One guy even said in all the years of him coming to this show it was the best class he attended ever. WOW, so humbling and grateful :)

Anyway, now that I’m done bragging … apologies, didn’t intend for that!
