Public comment period open for ADOT’s Tentative Five-Year Construction Program

I’m happy to announce the public comment period has opened for the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Fiscal Year 2026-2030 tentative Five-Year Transportation Facilities Construction Program. The program focuses on improving the state’s highway system, which includes several major widening projects while also improving pavement conditions.

It takes a great deal of collaboration and partnerships to determine what projects should be included in ADOT’s Five-Year Construction Program.?

I would encourage you to review the program and provide your comments by the 5 p.m. deadline on May 23, 2025.

The State Transportation Board is expected to consider formal action on the program at its June 20 meeting.
