Pubcon 2024 - Roundup

Pubcon held on March 4th - 6th 2024, was a buzz. Held in Las Vegas, this year we had some great speakers and insights.?

LinkBuildingHQ was one of the many esteemed sponsors of the event. The first day started abuzz and it was all dandy. With people networking, finding out what to expect in the event, and just socializing in general, the event was ready to take off.?

That is until March 5th happened! Well, it's not as dramatic as you would think. However, that day, Google rolled out a Major Core Algorithm and Spam Update.?

Now, this caused key opinion leaders to even change their slides and presentations pretty much in the entirety.?


Jennifer Slegg was one of them and she definitely had to make many changes. Her topic was about Google updates and impacts.


While Ryan Jones was talking about Proactive and Data-driven SEO, he still mentioned how this is so not unusual.?


Lily Ray also had a fun little exchange with Michael King - one of the keynote speakers.?

Fun Fact: People think that updates are inevitable during Global Conferences. This time, industry experts were spread all around the world and Google went… BAM! (JK tho).?
