1. Single end face to face mechanical seal

2. Double end face to face mechanical seal


Compared with the single-end face to face mechanical seal, the double-end face to face mechanical seal has two sets of sealing components, which are located at both ends of the pump shaft to form two sealing barriers. Even in the liquid medium high pressure, high temperature, high corrosive environment, the double end face to face mechanical seal can also ensure the good sealing performance of the pump. And in the event of leakage, the leaking liquid will enter the secondary sealing chamber of the pump, and will not directly pollute the outside environment.

Although the double-end face to face mechanical seal has complex structure and high manufacturing cost, it has long service life and more stable sealing performance. It is widely used in conveying high temperature, viscosity, corrosive liquid media, such as acid, alkali, organic solvents and so on.

It should be noted that during the use of double-end face to face mechanical seals, attention should be paid to checking and maintaining the sealing performance of the secondary sealing chamber. In addition, it is necessary to regularly check the pressure, flow, temperature and other parameters of the sealing fluid to ensure the efficient operation of the double-end face to face mechanical seal.
