PT TKDN Presents an IoT System for Fleet Safety at the 2022 Sustainable Transportation Forum in Bali

Bali October 20, 2022, PT Teknologi Karya Digital Nusa (PT TKDN) consistently carries out activities related to improving technology in the transportation sector. One of them is by attending the 2022 Sustainable Transportation Forum in Bali to showcase the IoT TAM Fleet (TKDN Advance Mobility Fleet) device. The event which lasted for two days (20-21 October 2022) at the Bali International Convention Center was organized by the Ministry of Transportation in preparation for the G20 event in Bali.

TAM Fleet, an IoT smart bus system integrator is a security technology and fleet supervision that aims to improve services and maximize operational efficiency in accordance with the needs of the transportation industry in Indonesia.

"Our priority is not only providing IoT technology and AI-based devices but these various devices can be integrated with a dashboard platform system that can adjust to company needs (customization)," explained David Santoso, President Director of PT TKDN who was also present at the event.

The products and devices from TAM Fleet that function as sensors and driver supervision that are proven to improve the safety of the fleet, passengers and drivers include MDVR, Driver Safety Monitoring (DSM), Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Indicator R-Watch, Global Positioning System (GPS), CCTV, and Blind Spot Detection.

Especially for DSM devices, it can provide Driver Behavior Analysis to monitor driver behavior so as not to commit violations while the fleet is operating. Likewise, the Blind Spot Detection device uses a 3D depth camera with AI which is able to detect the presence of pedestrians and vehicles around the fleet with an accuracy of up to 95% to minimize traffic accidents.

Meanwhile, the ADAS device and the R-Watch Indicator can even provide an early warning if a fleet of vehicles is detected deviating from the lane, crossing the speed limit or in the event of a potential head-on collision. Meanwhile, vehicle tracking and security devices that use a combination of Global Positioning System (GPS) technology and combined with the Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) from TAM Fleet are also able to track, monitor the position and status of vehicles in real time.

"With the technology and solutions that PT TKDN offers, we hope to help improve the safe, comfortable and sustainable urban transportation system in Indonesia so that more and more people switch from private transportation to public transportation," concluded David Santoso.
