Your main focus should be creating the right culture for your team.

Culture controls the pace of work, how things get shipped, and who joins (and stays on) your team.

This is a key part that reflects your pulse on the most cutting edge technology.

You need to make choices that instills confidence in their ability to follow you into the future and that they can trust you to help them excel in their career.

  1. Your “Ways of Working” limit or increase your hiring options.

Get clear on the “ways of working” for your team.

Where is everyone located?

Are you in-office only, hybrid, or a remote team?

How do you handle synchronous and asynchronous work to optimize your team’s time?

The more you can lean into async hybrid and remote work, the larger the talent pool becomes.
