Psychology is the game

The reason I got into business was because I was trying to work this shit out.

And I’ve actually worked out that entrepreneurs on some level, either consciously or unconsciously, are a little bit wounded.

They are a little bit broken and I don’t think anything is wrong with being a little bit broken because you know, things that are cracked let through light, and things that are cracked that heal become stronger than what they were before.

And the reason I think entrepreneurs are little bit broken or a little bit wounded is often they seek out business as way to heal and the reason I say that is because if you want to succeed in business, it requires an incredible amount of personal development – psychology is the game.

Eighty per cent of your performance in business will come down to the thoughts that you think on regular basis. I can literally give two people the exact formula and one of them will find the way to make tens of millions of dollars and other one will fuck it up every way from Friday. Same information, in some cases the same industry, only difference is the six inches between the ears of the individual that’s driving the bus.

Most of you probably don’t even know who you are.

You’ve probably spent so long trying to be someone that you’re not, to be accepted by those who you think you need in order become successful.

I want you to know that you can be successful as you are. You don’t need to change who you are in here. You just need to learn how to operate in a different way to get a different result. Does this make sense?

There’s a great Latin proverb called, ‘’Know thyself,’’ the more you understand about who you are, the sooner you can go, ‘’Huh so that’s why I do that’’.

Who here does shit and you sit back stunned and you’re like, ‘’Why the fuck did I do that?’’.

Your current psychological frame work right now is producing the current result you have in your world right now. And the only way that result is going to change is if you dismantle and re-put together that framework in a different order to produce a different result.
