Psychologists Do NOT WANT TO KNOW THE REAL ME!!!!!!
"The act of revealing oneself fully to another and still being accepted may be the major vehicle of therapeutic help.”
Irvin Yalom
This is ideal BUT NOT REAL! In EVERY therapy I have been in when I reveal my real self I get KICKED OUT!!! I have taken unethical psychologists to the licensing board (4 in all). One lost his license. One died BEFORE he could lose his license. One was dismissed because there was not enough evidence to convict him. The other is still under investigation.
This of course scares therapists and they refuse to see me. I've been told that I'm "too intense" and "too demanding" But I demand RESPECT! And yes, I am an intense person. I happen to be a passionate person. And I have strong feelings and opinions. But this seems too much for EVERY psychologist I have ever seen over the two decades that I've gone to therapy with dozens upon dozens of different psychologists, of all ages and ethnic backgrounds, including both men and women. So, now I stay completely away. What Irwin Yalom said is IDEAL, but far from the truth!!! Actually psychologists can't get over the countertransference they have and are easily triggered. Read It:
