AS A Psychologist Your Words Can DESTROY A Patient!!!!

I remember this from 2008, as if it were yesterday! Dr. Richard Geist cut my time back from five free hours a week to only one. This is taken directly from the book I wrote Love Bombed by A Harvard Psychologist: "Before you went away one afternoon I had said to you (regarding how little I actually see you) maybe when you retire I can see you more and you replied "What makes you think I want to see more of you" - THAT CUT ME TO THE CORE!! It also made me realize that this is a "FINITE RELATIONSHIP" and when you retire so does "this relationship", as I'm only "WORK" to you. Yet?I love you deeply and even when you retire or when I can't see you that doesn't stop my loving you and NEVER WILL. I lived with that intense hurt BEFORE and AFTER your vacation. Though during your vacation, you calling me frequently made me feel close and whole inside (since the extreme emptiness I had felt last summer when you didn't call)."

Even if he felt that he shouldn't have voiced it knowing just how vulnerable I was and drinking very heavily! He sat there dripping in resentment and being very defensive! Another psychologist who failed at the transference and ruined the progress he made with his patient!
