Psychological Warfare is Used in Corporations as Well

As a thought leader, I speak to a lot of executives all over the world. I also mentor top executives. We're all talking about the same things, the possibility of another world war, the use of nuclear weapons, and the psychological warfare that is going on right now.?

Sadly, psychological warfare is used in corporations as well.?

Managers drop little tidbits of information to keep everybody on their toes and not feeling too safe or comfortable. They keep them wondering, "Oh, what's going on? Is my division gonna be laid off? Are we closing??

These questions result in answers like, “Everything's fine, don't worry about it”. Then employees go to work the next morning and their key doesn't work because the locks were changed overnight.?

This is something that happened to employees of a restaurant near me, as well as to friends and colleagues of mine in the last few years.?

That insecurity is what is creating a movement: ‘If I decide I don't like working for you and/or your company, I'm walking. I'm out of here. I'll figure out something else to do with my life or I'll go work for someone else or create a business of my own. I am not tied to this company and this job for the rest of my life.’?

Great topic H.E. Amb. Terry Earthwind Nichols Mentor to the World's Leaders! The first company I worked at with nearly 15 years when we decided to sell, refused to have people like me gaslight employees with lies about rumors they were hearing about the sale. We were upfront, honest, and most every team member stuck with the organization. The ones who were nervous, we helped them in getting a new role. Fast forward to later in my career, and gaslighting was done by most senior leaders and managers on a daily basis, let alone something major like a sale. So why did it happen? Most people in leadership roles don't have the trust, influence, and relationship to speak honest with someone for fear they will leave quickly with the news.
