PSYCHOBIOTIC & ADAPTOGENIC MUSHROOMS FOR GREAT HEALTH

I am a huge fan of the "Fungal Pharmacy" and plant medicines. Keeping this post brief, I have referenced the supporting medical studies below for those who wish to further research this topic. Sorry, but this article is NOT about psychedelics.

For centuries Ayurvedic and Oriental medicine has long aknowledged "the existing relationship between Mind & Body". Western civilization (specifically modern medicine) is centuries behind in acknowledging 'The Mind-Body relationship'.

ADAPTOGENIC: Meaning to assist the body adapt to stress and impart a 'normalizing effect'. Often referred to in combating physical illnesses and cancer conditions.

PSYCHOBIOTIC (an actual word): The loose meaning is to restore the organism's microbiota (live bacteria typically residing in stomach) to restore optimum mental health. Often referred to in optimnizing the medically proven relationship between your stomach (or gut) and your brain.

Generally speaking, Medicinal Mushrooms are the closest substance resembling 'Interferon' (a naturally occurring substance made by white blood cells) in building the immune system disorders and combating cancer. Further, Medicinal Mushrooms contain abundant amounts of antioxidants, probiotics, vitamins, as well as having anti-inflammatory effect.

Consuming Apdaptogenic & Psychobiotic fungi (mushrooms) such as Lions Mane (Hericeum erinaceus), Turkey Tail (Tramatese versicolor), Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) bring balance back to an ailing body. The Fungal Pharmacy is more cost-effective than the traditional pharmacy, and it may prove to be an excellent Preventive Medicine altrnative.

Pacific Northwest reference: In the PNW we have "Bears Head" (Hericium abeitus) a cousin to Lions Mane with the same Medicinal Mushroom qualities.

Love this article and also love me some Lions Mane! Ayurveda has changed my life, the elements in our bodies are so powerful. Simple ways of knowing what’s going on inside of our bodies include looking at our poop and reflecting on our mental. We can make conscious decisions on food just by being more aware of ourselves ??
