A recent manuscript in the journal Analytica Chimica Acta describes a powerful method for quantitating psilocybin, psilocin and other psychedelic compounds in psychedelic mushrooms. This work was led by the University of Texas at Arlington [1].

Her work extends beyond cultivation, encompassing the development of accurate analytical methods essential for psilocybin and psilocin quantification in these mushrooms, setting a pivotal precedent for rigorous clinical trials.

The innovations in psilocybin and psilocin analysis will be discussed at this year’s Pittcon conference [3]. The sessions will also include talks by world leading testing labs, including Rose City Labs and Delic Labs.
