Overcoming Psoriasis was founded more than 10 years ago and is run by Psoriasis sufferer, Todd Bello. First diagnosed with Psoriasis at the age of 28, Todd would be the first to admit that this condition is life altering and sufferers are faced with ongoing challenges. It soon became his mission to support others and established Overcoming Psoriasis, which now boasts over 100k combined members from around the globe.

The Overcoming Psoriasis community offers a safe space for members to share their experiences and challenges, provide support and education, and band together to encourage ongoing treatment breakthroughs. Todd remains the face and sympathetic voice of Overcoming Psoriasis which has become essential in the overall healing process.

1. Abundant Natural Health’s Ocean Soothe range is now officially endorsed by you, Todd Bello! What made you want to endorse this range?

Mainly because personally, I use and love the product! It’s really simple to use and understand and does a great job at controlling my symptoms of psoriasis.

2. How long have you been working with Abundant Natural Health and how did it come about?

I met Abundant Natural Health’s CEO, Tony Crimmins, through Overcoming Psoriasis. We met online and then we physically got together in New York and got along like a house on fire, while also swapping familiar psoriasis stories. Ever since, ANH has been generous with the Overcoming Psoriasis group, supporting members with free product and discounts to help with their psoriasis symptoms.?

3. What are some of the common concerns you come across from psoriasis sufferers in the Overcoming Psoriasis group?

Everyone with the condition is suffering in some way, especially once their first diagnosed. There's a long list of comorbidities that come with psoriasis ranging from psoriatic arthritis, depression etc, and this is where the Overcoming Psoriasis group can be helpful in providing support. I’ve also noticed that a lot of sufferers are beginning to lean towards natural products for a long list of reasons, but also products they can use with their prescribed medication.

4. How do you use the Ocean Soothe Range and what is your routine to manage your psoriasis?

After my daily shower I will use the Ocean Soothe Gel, especially on some of my really stubborn psoriasis patches. I also find it really effective as a body moisturizer as well as something that is easing my psoriasis symptoms like the redness, scaling and the terrible itching.

5. Which product from the range is one you can’t live without?

I use Ocean Soothe Gel and Lotion regularly, but I can’t live without Ocean Soothe Flare Relief Bath Soak. Man I really love that bath soak! I know that it can be quite a process drawing yourself a bath as opposed to taking a shower, but I enjoy the weekly bath ritual. The product works really well, its smells great, it’s very calming not only for the skin but for the mind and it gives you a piece of the ocean in your own bathtub. But without the sand!

6. What makes Ocean Soothe different from other products on the market?

Everything about the brand is simple and yet it’s very effective. It’s an easy product to purchase and use. The concept of salt and the ocean to soothe the skin and the soul is something I think we can all understand. And its as natural as can possible be. Speaking as a psoriasis sufferers, it’s a huge bonus that the product doesn’t have any smell, its not greasy and doesn’t stain my clothes or sheets which is a common issue for psoriasis sufferers. I just love how the products were designed and formulated. We could all get a little more Magnesium into our day!
