Prussian Teamwork

One of the greatest values I learned from my former boss Takashi, one of the greatest entrepreneurs from Japan in our era, at my last job at Fracta.ai was to take #Teamwork to another level higher than what most people think what it means. Teamwork does not only mean to merely collaborate when you are told to. Teamwork means that you never ever allow any colleague fail next to you, regardless of their seniority or performance. As long as there is 0.001% hope, we were taught and trained to always try our best to the foremost to support, encourage and complement our colleagues. It did not always make sense to me under some circumstances back then, but after I started #Prussian it has been making every sense nowadays.

At Prussian.ai, at all levels, every colleague is expected to be proactive at collaborating with, supporting, encouraging and complementing their colleagues regardless of circumstances -- performance, skills, personal situation or even attitude, and to put their true selves all out there for each other. Whether it's in engineering, AI or data science, business or any team or cross-team, being proactive at #Teamwork is mandatory. It means, top performers are expected to also uplift the skills, morale and know-how of those lagging.

What I learned from Takashi at Fracta.ai is not only a good value of Japanese work culture, but also a must-have aligned with the #AmericanValue and the #PrussianValue. "Save Private Ryan" wasn't fictional. #Auftragstaktik would not work if friendly troops don't take initiation at supporting each other proactively. The opposite example? How did we let Commies steal almost half of the globe?

We must not let anyone fail. Prussian troopers support each other. Being complacent at seeing others' fail, slack off, or leave, is seen the same negligence and complacency at failing each of our duties, as #Teamwork is one of the most important part of job duties.

Work like a Prussian. Teamwork like a Prussian. Be Prussian with your minds and hearts in what you do.

Prussians don't let Prussians fail. We must bring out all our true hearts for each other, under all circumstances.
