We have close to two centuries of business experience, customer service has been at the heart of Prudential’s long story of success. It is widely believed that central to developing a business is the ability to engage a wide range of customers backed by excellent customer service.

Recently, Prudential has entered partnerships with equally recognizable brands, with the key objective of increasing the insurance penetration rate in the region.

Through our approach that involves key drivers like ?our Agents and most recently Bancassurance, Prudential is committed to remaining agile when responding to the rising customer expectations in this fast growing insurance market. The 2019 State of Global Customer Service study by Microsoft shows 59% of shoppers now have higher customer service expectations than they did in the previous years. This simply calls for faster and convenient services in terms of delivery. At Prudential through avenues like bancassurance which basically means an arrangement between a bank and an insurance company allowing the insurance company to sell its products to the bank's client base, we are deliberately working towards bringing services closer to the customer and ensuring access to many different insurance policies through our partners.
Early this year,?Ecobank Togo, the first subsidiary of Ecobank Group, signed a partnership with Prudential Beneficial Life Insurance to cover its customers. This partnership will enable Ecobank Togo and Prudential Beneficial Life Insurance to develop and distribute insurance solutions to customers through the vast distribution network of the Bank. A few years ago, Prudential Life Insurance Ghana has entered into a bancassurance partnership with Standard Chartered Bank.
Our strategy as Prudential is always to seize opportunities such as this partnership and increase Insurance penetration within Africa. We are committed to our customers and investing in our communities because this continent is home.
