Providing wrong information and misguidance by clear trip representative resulting in harassment
I booked a ticket from City 1 to City 2 for Feb 2023. Further I wanted to postpone my date same flight same sector ie, for 5 days later.
For assistance I got connected with representative of Clear trip around 2.44 Pm, The solution given to me was as under :
a)?????To reschedule the date I will have to pay 5000 plus amount to clear trip whereas the ticket purchased value Rs.4812/-.For new booking online clear trip was showing lesser price at the same time
Deduction:
?Just to postpone the date in the same sector Clear trip will charge 5000 plus and the total cost for the trip would be approximately 10000/-
Time and again I asked her, how it is possible? And the reply was “Airline take rescheduling charges and only take service charges and convenience charges”.
A absolutely WRONG information was fed by Clear trip representative that “Approximately Rs.4301 would be charged by Airlines for rescheduling the date. ?(Evidence is being attached for your ready reference)
b)?????With no option left, I requested for cancellation of the booked ticket (Ticket Value Rs.4812/-). I asked please let me know as how much refund I will get for this cancellation. It was told to me that for cancellation of booking Ticket for City 1 – City 2 one-way flight -- Trip ID 23012768726 a refund of Rs. 1000 plus in this cancellation Clear trip will deduct service charges and convenience fee rest money would be deducted by the airlines. ??
It was shocking for me and finally I conned with the Airline (Indigo) Very clearly stated by the Indigo representative that “NOT A SINGLE RUPEE WOULD BE DEDUCTED BY INDIGO” and I requested for cancellation. Within 10 seconds I received the mail with the details of “no deduction” MUST APPRECIATE INDIGO PROMPT ACTION (Screenshot attached for ready reference)

Totally wrong information was fed to me by Clear trip. Totally unprofessional approach towards my issue.

Further, again I called Clear trip to apprise that, I have cancelled my tickets directly with airlines.
Second clear trip representative, Again I repeated the whole story I requested for solution. The answer was same and was apprised to me that, for the GIVEN SERVICES for cancellation Clear trip will deduct service charges and convenience fee. Again shocking for me (She was talking of which services?)
c)??????I again connected with Clear trip and the third representative.
Again I narrated the whole story and the answer was same, as per Clear Trip Policy cancellation charge I,e Service charge and convenience charge wold be deducted. ?I asked him to connect with his supervisor and then he kept for hold for more long time which can be seen in tour record. Finally No one could resolve my issue. One more gentlemen came online and then I requested him to process for refund as Indigo would refund to Clear trip without any deduction. He processed the same ?and also he said that, since no cancellation services was provided by Clear Trip he will try and request seniors for wave of service charges and convenience fee. After a long hold he said its Clear Trip Policy” and he can’t help. I requested for email id where I can register the complaint and the same was provided.
d)?????After some time I received a call from Clear Trip, where he was mentioning wrong sector about my trip. Anyhow, again I narrated the whole story giving the name of all representatives of Clear trip with whom I interacted. After listening to my whole pain he could not say anything, since I was not knowing his name I asked his name and the call was disconnected from clear Trip side. This can be checked on record.
e)?????I again called Clear Trip and requested to connect with the person with whom I spoke last but he was busy serving other customers as said to me. I asked his name and the name told to me was “ ----------“ (The person called me from Clear Trip side and finally dropped the call without giving his name.)
With all above it is evident that, no Clear Trip representatives resolved my issues and fed me with wrong information’s resulting in absolute Harassment.
Also, by providing “NO SERVICES” either for rescheduling or cancellation Clear Trip would deduct service Charges and convenience fee as said by all representatives.
In view of the above I request Clear Trip authorities to investigate the facts and take appropriate action keeping me informed.
Also request to justify that, by providing NO SERVICES from Clear Trip for cancellation, how service charge and convenience charges and claimed by Clear trip vide their refund memo.?
