We are launching our new campaign, #ThanksToScience! For the second consecutive year, we are working on an awareness campaign to assist patients, families & caregivers, patient organizations, hospitals, and professionals in making clinical studies more visible and focusing on improving communication so that studies are seen as a viable option.

Would you like to be part of our campaign? You can join us by sharing your experience and participating through a quote, video, or podcast. If you're interested in participating, please let us know. We will run the campaign until the end of the year.

?? Patient Perspective con Generative AI in the #EMWA57

We had the honor of participating in The 57th Spring Conference of the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) in Valencia, on a full day symposium 'AI in Medical Writing'.

The event provided a 360° approach, from technological perspectives of AI tool developers, to ethical consideration, intellectual property (IP) and copyright concerns that may arise whilst working with AI tools. With 21 speakers, 4 moderators and 2 panel sessions it was an amazing opportunity for meaningful connections, enlightening conversations, and interesting learning. Congratulations to everyone who made it possible, with a big thanks to Slavka Baronikova ! ??

?? How to harness AI to benefit patients while addressing its associated risks

Last month, Mitchell Silva, PhD took part in the PFMD .org Patient Engagement Open Forum #PEOF event, bringing together patient engagement leaders from across the healthcare sector. The focus was on how to harness AI to benefit patients while addressing its associated risks.

Discussions centered on ensuring the patient’s voice is integral to AI development, stressing the importance of collaboration and keeping patients actively involved.

Key points included the necessity of education and clear communication to ensure fairness, and recognizing AI’s potential to enhance innovation in healthcare.

To build successful, patient-focused AI solutions, it’s vital to employ an inclusive, international approach with standardized frameworks that involve patients from the outset.

We are happy to have shared this space with great professionals committed to health and innovation. Let's continue exchanging perspectives and working together towards people′s health and quality of life!
