If you want to provide positive feedback on a presentation or on a specific task someone did well, tell them exactly what you liked then and there.

Likewise, if you do not like the way someone completed a task or you want them to improve on certain skills, you can talk to them right away.?

If you want to provide criticism to someone, it is always a good idea to do it privately.?

Understand the entire situation

Earlier when people worked from offices, it was easier to observe the entire flow of someone working. However, remote work shows us partial glimpses.?

In these scenarios, providing feedback without knowing the big picture could prove to be counterproductive. So, it’s always best to understand the whole situation from the employee’s teammates before providing them with feedback on it.?

Find out what the employee did good and what they could have improved. It will give you a complete picture, and you can give meaningful feedback.?
