Providence Heart Institute Receives $75 Million Gift from Phil and Penny Knight

This has been exciting week for our family of organizations. On Tuesday, we announced a truly innovative partnership with Cedars-Sinai in Southern California. And today, our team in Oregon announced one of the largest philanthropic contributions ever made to a community hospital—a gift of $75 million from the Knight Foundation to support the Providence Heart Institute, including the development of a heart transplant program. Thank you, Phil and Penny Knight, for your incredible generosity, and thank you to all the caregivers in Oregon who inspired this gift through the great work you do every day.
