Prove to me that branding works

Prove to me that branding works

I was deeply shaken recently by the passing of the incredible coach, Kerwin Rae. I never had the chance to meet him, but I attended some of his events, and he was an incredible teacher who made a huge impact.

The news hit me hard for two reasons:

I attended one of his recent online events, and I was struck by the amount of criticism and negativity in the comments. It’s easy to forget that just because someone is well-known or famous in their niche, they’re still human. You never know what’s going on behind the scenes, so this was a powerful reminder to always be kind—especially to those we think are invincible.

Kerwin was taken way too soon. His passing is a reminder that life is unpredictable and finite. It’s made me reflect on how important it is to live life on your own terms. Who cares what others think—or what you think they’re thinking (which, let’s be real, is usually in your head). Kerwin’s legacy has inspired me to focus on making a lasting impact on people’s lives. It’s not just about making money—it’s about using your gifts to help others. (And ironically, that’s exactly what leads to real success.)

The branding litmus test

Someone said to me the other day, “Prove to me that branding works.”

I smiled and said, “Okay, here’s a quick test.”

Go to a coffee shop, grab a seat, and wait until someone comes in and opens up their laptop.

Now, what laptop did you just picture in your mind?

Chances are, you imagined a certain brand without even realizing it.

That’s the power of branding.

Improve Your Brand in 30 Seconds: Use consistent filters

If you’re creating content for your brand and like to use filters, here’s a tip: pick one and stick with it. Sounds simple, but this small change can dramatically improve your branding by making your vibe familiar and recognisable to your audience. My go-to app for filters is Tezza—it’s great for keeping things cohesive.

Top 3 This Week:

SHOW - Shrinking

Feel-good TV at its finest.

PRODUCTIVITY - Focused Frequency

Binaural beats are a game changer for productivity. They work by playing two slightly different tones in each ear, creating a third tone in your brain that helps you focus. This one is incredible for getting things done—I listen to it whenever I need to lock in and GSD!

MINI-TRAINING - Generate a Weeks worth of content in 5 mins

One of the biggest things holding people back from building their brand is the struggle to come up with content ideas. Never be stuck again! Watch this quick training on how to generate endless ideas in just 5 minutes. You’re welcome!
