Be proud! You can't? It's not your destination!

Last year I released my book, 365 days of inspiration. A quote book with 365 inspirational quotes that can change your life. In my life, I achieved successes most businessmen only can dream of. But I also lost more than most men can handle. But when you can see it as a lesson, those experiences will turn out positively.  So, I decided to write a new book that will be released worldwide on January 1st, 2021. “100 days of change” (working title) is the source of success. Success isn’t luck. It’s an attitude! If you start something new, you have only 100 days to prove it will be a success, if you can’t make the change in a hundred day’s you can’t make the change in a lifetime! 

About the first quote: My grandpa was one of the proud people at the Dutch parcel company “van Gend en Loos”. Van Gend en Loos is now DHL, one of the world’s biggest Parcel companies today. My granddad was very proud of "his" company. So his house was decorated with van Gend en Loos pictures, calendars, ornaments, and his grandchildren got those typical van Gend en Loos toys. During one of my visits to a historical museum, I met a co-worker from my granddad and told me that he had at his work and in his wallet, a picture of his girlfriend and later wife. During WWII he never ever gave up where he was proud of! He never ever hid his aversion against the German invasion and oppression. But he never blamed the German residents. He had German friends. Should friendships be destroyed by acts of our leaders? So although everyone hated the Germans, he placed the picture of him with his German friends at his office wall. Didn’t we learn anything from the American Civil war?, was his favorite quote, he said. If you shame yourself of your products, company, friends or girlfriend, it isn’t your destination! No matter if the product photo isn’t from good quality, or your friends have a doubtable reputation, or your girlfriend isn’t a photo model. Be proud anyway and show the world where you are proud of! If you’re not proud, it isn’t your destination.
