Be proud of what you did, continue to be yourself and look at the future !

One year ago, I left my previous company in the context of an unexpected corporate decision that does hurt you for your entire Professional life after having devoted for many years a lot of your time, energy and passion to your company, your work and responsibilities, your colleagues and your business partners. But now it does belong to the past and I remain quite positive. Looking ahead, I can say that the lessons learnt from this experience are that one of the strongest assets of a company are its employees with their vision, their expertise, their reputation, their way of working with each other and communicating, their network, and their relationships they have been able to build year after year, and that whatever the company you work at/for after, you continue to be yourself in a new business environnement bringing with you what you were and brought before and maybe with more power and energy allowing you to continue to develop yourself ! It is difficult to say thank you for what happened, but after almost one year in a great and exciting place to be now with great prospects for the future, I will certainly say thank you to my previous colleagues who became friends for many of them, to my new colleagues, to the company I am now part of and to my business partners who all together allowed me to feel well during this year and to understand that professional life is a long road with experiences, being bad or good, which allow you to build yourself and to reinforce your determination to stay yourself and to give the best of yourself. We all have a future even when a great story does suddenly stop ! It is the opportunity to do better afterwards and to progress ! If something similar does happen, my final words will be : Continue to be yourself, learn from this experience, be proud of what you did before, continue to develop your strenghts and work your weaknesses, and have fun ! It will be the best victory on what happened !
